... And I'm Back!

Welp, it's been a while since I've blogged.  I would love that I had some big excuse, but honestly I had a ton of down time this summer that I could have caught up on the blog but I didn't know how. So here goes nothing.

Since   I have updated in awhile I thought I would fill you in what has happened in the past few months!

In May I turned 25, and my little brother graduated college!
For my brother's graduation I got to fly to Tennessee ,with my best friend, and meet up with my family for a few day to celebrate this big achievement with my brother!

My birthday was a milestone and my roommate and went to Busch Gardens to celebrate!  At Busch Gardens, We got to meet some of their giraffes and tortoises as well ride some rides and eat all the food that we could handle!
If I am being honest, it was at Busch Gardens that I realized that I'm not 16 anymore, and I just can't keep going through a theme park all day.  My body just can't handle the constant go, go, go and dehydration and stress that an all day theme park adventure puts on it.

So in the meantime I'll just stick to my few hours at a time that I go to Disney World.  As a passholder and a local I have a tendency to hop over and spend only however long I can stand at the park and that is such a privilege to have.
After the month May held a lot celebration we got continue some celebration in June because I graduated School of Ministry in June! This meant that my dad came down to Florida for a few days for the church service where they graduated us on stage and for the dinner the day after.  I also got spend Father's day with him for the first time since I was 16 and take him to Disney for his first visit!
In late July, I was able to get home and visit my family and see people that I hadn't seen since Christmas.  For the most part, this trip was such a breath of fresh air!  I always love a chance to go home and catch up with my friends that I left behind there.  I know that the Lord has called me to Central Florida, but there is always a sweetness in going home (I'm sure the cookout milkshakes help too).
Once I came back from Tennessee though it was time for rubber to hit the road.  I had spent a good bit of time sick since graduation. So I hadn't really had a vacation except my trip, but now that I was home to Central Florida it was ready to get prepared for school. Because this fall I went back school, but not as a student.  I started a job as a  high school science teacher!  I am so excited to get to mold young minds into being excited about science and getting to show them the God that created science!
